Co-Founder & COO — Distributional
I am an a16z-backed co-founder and go-to-market (GTM) leader with multiple exits specialized in AI products for complex markets. Currently, I am co-founder and COO at Distributional, an a16z-backed agent analytics startup that has raised $30M. I previously ran GTM for a16z-backed AI optimization startup SigOpt, growing from $0 to $4M ARR before acquisition by Intel, where I ran GTM strategy for Intel’s AI and HPC software team. Before Intel and SigOpt, I led partnerships at public health benefits software company Benefitfocus (platform pivot), marketing at life sciences startup Comprehend Systems (Series A to Saama exit), and product marketing at clean energy startup Opower (Series A to IPO).
Experience
Co-founded a16z-backed Series A startup with $30M raised to build the analytics category for AI agents. Assembled a 30-person team with 100s of publications, 18 patents, and experience from Google, Intel, SigOpt, Slack, Stripe, and Uber.
Executed 200+ executive briefings and a multi-partner design process to generate a 50-customer waitlist, leading to an early Series A just nine months after Seed. In early 2025, pivoted GTM with a new product and rebuilt go-to-market solo as the company’s only non-technical employee.
Joined Intel via the SigOpt acquisition. Earned promotion to Principal Engineer level, managing the 25-person SigOpt team and leading GTM strategy for the 200-person AI and HPC software team.
Built the Intel AI platform from SigOpt, OneAPI, OpenVINO, INC, BigDL, and AI/ML accelerator components — including brand, business plan, ROI model, and partnerships. Translated CPU and GPU benchmark results into featured testimonials to launch a nine-figure product line.
Ran GTM for a16z-backed Series A startup building the AI/ML model optimization category — acquired by Intel in 2020 for $17M raised. Scaled revenue from $0 to $3M+ with $300k+ ACV and 130%+ NRR with customers including OpenAI, Netflix, American Express, and Two Sigma.
Generated $17M+ of annual pipeline with 200+ exec briefings, events, and category creation. Re-positioned the core product into a platform, launching Orchestrate and Experiment Tracking. Expanded from marketing to developer relations, partnerships, and sales — ultimately becoming GM of the 25-person SigOpt team at Intel.
Led channel marketing (SAP, Mercer), ecosystem (health, wellness, finance), and partner strategy for a publicly traded benefits administration platform with 20M members. Closed two dozen partners and exceeded decamillion-dollar channel revenue goals.
Asked by incoming CEO to run marketing, but chose to join SigOpt to build the AI/ML optimization category instead.
Led demand generation for Sequoia-backed YC startup that raised $50M to build an analytics platform for life sciences clinical operations — acquired by Saama. Exceeded MQO and SQO goals by 200%, growing revenue from $1M to $3M with $100k+ ACV.
Grew with this NEA-backed clean energy software startup from Series A through IPO in 2014, then acquisition by Oracle in 2016. Promoted twice — from regulatory analyst to product marketing to market development manager.
Responsible for legislative and regulatory changes that opened $100M in state markets and $5B in ISO/RTOs. Scaled efficiency product revenue from $5M to $50M pre-IPO. Launched new products for smart thermostats and behavioral demand response, including post-Nest pivot.
Analysis Group — Performed data analysis for expert witness testimony in economic litigation support.
Martha Coakley for U.S. Senate — Staffed the candidate, ran budget, and raised $18M for the Massachusetts special election campaign.
ML Strategies — Developed and lobbied for clean energy policies in the state legislature at the government relations affiliate of Mintz.
Mintz — Built auction rate securities models and provided litigation support through a selective analyst program.

Interests
I get energy from iterating to product-market fit, working with experts on hard problems, and executing with high throughput. I enjoy being in the market — giving talks, listening to customers, and exchanging ideas with collaborators. And I also enjoy deep work — creating, writing, and thinking on my own.
I recharge by skiing, cycling, reading, writing, hosting, practicing yoga, and playing with my family of four in Denver. I love our neighborhood, community, and that I get to share it with my family. This balance empowers me to produce my best work.
I also prioritize being in nature. Colorado is my home, and I’ve lived in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Washington DC, Boston, and was raised in Asheville, NC.
